California and Florida residents welcome
Psychotherapy is an investment into your wellness and health, productivity at work, quality of life, relationships, creativity, and a sense of happiness and fulfillment. Benefits of psychotherapy can extend into all parts of this moment and your future.
I have a set fee for psychotherapy and consultations. An initial phone consultation is offered at no charge: we can use that time to begin understanding your needs and goals, how they could fit with my therapeutic approach, how psychotherapy works in general, and more. In case any of the above doesn’t work for you, I would be happy to provide referrals.
Currently, I accept Medicaid (San Francisco and Sonoma counties only) and Medicare (anywhere in California and Florida) ; also, I am an out-of-network provider (CA and FL) and can provide monthly statements – superbills – which you can submit to your insurance company or employer for reimbursement. Some people are able to count psychotherapy expenses toward medical expenses on income taxes, or use Flexible Spending Account (FSA)/Healthcare Spending Account (HSA) to pay for psychotherapy. If you are plan to involve your insurance company or other agencies to pay for psychotherapy, please check with them prior to setting an appointment with me. You can inquire about the amount your insurance will reimburse you for psychotherapy (code 90837) with a psychologist.
